    Athletes from across the Chicago region compete on a USATF-Certified course to achieve a new personal record or place within their age category.

    5K Walk

    The 5K Walk is often the perfect starting place for first-timers, those new to the health journey, and veteran athlete walkers.
     

    Half-Mile Kids Run

    Inspiring a new generation of fitness enthusiasts, the Half Mile Gospel Kids Run is open to children under the age of 12.

  • Volunteer

    It takes hundreds volunteers to make the Gospel Run 5K a reality!   If you are a leader of a group of 5 or more and would like to bring a team of volunteers, please reach out to us at volunteers@gospelrun.com.   Be sure to let us know your organization or team name, size, and contact info.  We will find a good fit for your group! 

  • Timing/Awards

    Finishers’ medals are provided to all 5K Finishers!
     
    The Chicago Gospel Run 5K is a professionally timed race.
    The 5K event will be timed. 
    The top overall Male & Female Finishers will receive generous gift packs. 
    Medals will be provided to the first male and female finishers in each age bracket.

    Age Categories

    14 & under 15-19 20-24 30-34 35-39 40-44
    45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 65-69 70 & over

    Results will be available on site at the Timing Tent. You can also access your race results using the QR code on your race bib.

    Awards will be distributed following the race at the Gospel Run Swag Tent.
