Participants should arrive to the race site between 7am and 7:30am to be in place to start your race! \u00a0<\/p>\n

Thousands of participants from across the Chicagoland region and from cities across the country will join us in Chicago for the Gospel Run!\u00a0 \u00a0Plan ahead, leave yourself plenty of time, and arrive early.\u00a0 Don\u2019t miss your moment!<\/p>\n

7am<\/strong> \u2013 The Gospel Run HealthFest Begins \u2013 Hosted by NBC 5 Chicago\u2019s Evrod Cassimy<\/em><\/p>\n

7:45<\/strong> \u2013 Participant Line-Up in Starting Corrals \u00a0<\/p>\n

8am<\/strong> \u2013 5K Step-Off<\/p>\n

8:35<\/strong> \u2013 5K Starting Line Closes<\/p>\n

9am<\/strong> \u2013 Gospel Kids Run<\/p>\n

The race venue is located in the historic Bronzeville community, on the stunning Chicago lakefront!<\/p>\n

Drop-Offs, Ride Sharing, & Taxi<\/h2>\n

The 39th street beach parking lot will be accessible to team buses, taxis, and Uber\/Lyft vehicles for drop off.<\/p>\n

If using Uber\/Lyft, consider planning ahead of time by reserving a ride from one of these apps a day or more in advance. This will help you estimate cost and ensure that you have a ride reserved for you.<\/p>\n

Staging Area for Church Buses. <\/span><\/strong>Church buses can drop you off at the 39<\/span>th<\/sup> Street Beach site and then park at Apostolic Faith Church \u2013 until your team is ready for them to pick you up. If your bus driver would like to join the event, s\/he can jump on the shuttle over and join the experience to cheer you on!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Complimentary Shuttle Service<\/h2>\n

Gospel Run will offer free shuttles from 5:45am-11am for participants and volunteers. Be sure to arrive early and follow instructions from the parking staff.<\/p>\n
